The Mission of Bible Evangelism

We believe the only hope for America is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We take the great commission seriously knowing that eternal souls hang in the balance. We believe that the Word of God is relevant to every situation. We hold that the church should be applying the scriptures upon the culture, not applying the culture upon the scriptures. We unapologetically stand in opposition to all sin and proclaim the imminence of a coming judgment. We boldly declare that the only hope for any lost sinner is to repent of all sin, exercise faith in the atoning work of Christ, and surrender their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We agree with the Bible that preaching is God's primary ordained method of Evangelism. We seek to proclaim the Word of God by lifting up our voice, holding scriptural signs, passing out Gospel literature, and having one on one conversations. Our mission isn't limited to college campuses but we target the college campuses as we believe these places are great venues to give the youth (the future) of America the desperately needed truth of the Gospel. The mission of Bible Evangelism is to declare the Gospel as the Lord Jesus commanded. 

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

The scriptures clearly state the importance of the local church in the plan of God. We hold to the pattern in the New Testament which is that the local church is called to fufill the great commission in the local community and is responsible to send out evangelists and missionaries. We believe that the local church is the only way a believer can be established, discipled, and perfected. The mission of Bible Evangelism is to believe God to raise up strong local Bible churches in every state. 

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." 

-Ezekiel 22:30

We believe America is under judgment because we as a nation have rejected God. Abortion, sodomy, suicide, divorce, adultery, racism, drug addiction, false religion, humanism, and socialism are plaguing this great land. We have potentially crossed a moral line of no return meaning there is hope for individuals but apart from an unprecedented incredible supernatural move of God to bring this country to repentance, the free America, as we have known it, will soon be no more. However, we do know that we are to believe God for the impossible and that the only way the impossible can be done is if we are willing to do what God has told us to do. Revival will never come unless we pray and unless we proclaim. At Bible Evangelism, we take the call to "stand in the gap" for our nation very seriously. Even if the country as a whole cannot be saved, we believe God desires to have a church stand with Him against the tide of sin, believe God to do the impossible, and to pluck as many souls as we can from the fire. The mission of Bible Evangelism is to stand in the gap for America and to be a voice for God calling our nation to repentance and salvation.
